Western Slope Winter Seminar 2018
Location: St. Mary’s Hospital, Grand Junction, CO

The seminar provides continuing education and social opportunities for laboratory professionals that reside on the western slope and throughout the state of Colorado and Wyoming. Various speakers are invited each year to provide continuing education sessions in management and technical topics related to the laboratory profession. The event also provides opportunities for attendees to get to know one another and to share ideas related to our profession.

Reportable Diseases with CDPHE
Location: CSU Health and Medical Center / 151 West Lake Street, Fort Collins, CO 80523

The list of reportable diseases and reporting requirements are approved by the Colorado’s Board of Health, and are part of state regulation. The CDPHE is working on updating and revising these conditions for 2018. Dr. Rachel Herlihy MD, MPH and Helen Johnston, MPH will be our guests and help to guide us in our role of reporting compliance and protection of the public’s health. As part of this effort this informational gathering will allow laboratorians, physicians, and potential stakeholders to gather input and give valuable feedback on the proposed changes.
