About

Advocacy

One of our primary goals is to advocate for our profession and our patients. We do this by representing the interests of the clinical laboratory in all government forums that affect these interests. We are also involved in national and

If you are interested in Advocacy, you can:

  • Visit the ASCLS Political Action Committee (PAC) website to learn more about PAC.
  • Attend the ASCLS Labvocate Clinical Laboratory Advocacy Symposium in Washington.
  • Donate to PAC to help us reach our goals.

If you are interested in Education, you can:

  • Attend one of our conferences, seminars, and informational sessions for quality continuing education that helps you grow in your career.
  • Write an educational article for our newsletter to help your fellow laboratorians increase their knowledge.
  • Read our newsletter to learn more about your local lab community.
  • Volunteer for an educational session with students of all ages to increase outreach of our profession to the general public.
